A Triumphant Life

God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith.
Romans 3:25

Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross is never connected with punishment. It means doing God's will, and having His law written on our hearts, avoiding sin, and keeping a pure conscience, loving others, serving God, praising God for His provision. Atonement (at-one-ment) simply means "making one" or "reconciliation." We receive "at-one-ment." We were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. The Lord made it possible for us to have love, mercy, justice and humility by following His example and letting Him live within us.

Prayer for the day:

Lord, as we reflect today how you endured the pain and suffering of the cross to demonstrate your love, mercy, forgiveness, humility and justice, we just cannot stop thanking and praising you for this unconditional love you have bestowed upon us. Thank you for reminding us not to take huge gift of love for granted. Forgive us for being too busy with our daily chores that we have forgotten to fully recognise what you have done for us. Thank you for setting us free and giving us your Holy Spirit and empower us to live a triumphant life. We are indeed greatly blessed and highly honoured to be your precious ones. We praise you and thank you in Jesus' name. Amen.
